Today, you will start writing your first critical/analytical essay. You will be given the question and will have today and tomorrow to work on it (in class). You can use your notes, short story, and Fit to Print text. In other words, you can use anything at your disposal EXCEPT peers or other people.
In addition, keep in mind that, in a formal essay such as this, you are not to use the pronouns "I" or "you" but can use any of the others (pages 188 and 189 of Fit to Print will explain pronouns and how to use them if you are confused).
If you were not here, you will have to do it tomorrow (it is NOT a take home assignment).
