Today, I handed out a sheet explaining the layout of a critical/analytical essay. It is on coloured paper (blue) to indicate that it is important and needs to stay in your binder throughout this course. We then discussed it in full, focusing on the introduction.
I also spent time reviewing the differences between topic, theme and premise.
Finally, I gave you a handout of terminology that you need to learn for this term (though much of it should be familiar). I am giving to you in a question/answer format so that you can get someone to help you study (they aske the questions, you answer).
I also want you to reread "The Little Business Man" for Monday . IF YOU WERE NOT HERE, ALL NOTES FROM THIS CLASS ARE IN YOUR PORTFOLIO.
